Brittaney de la Torre is an Associate Attorney at Lara & Luna APC. Ms. de la Torre is experienced in all phases of employment litigation litigation, and has successfully drafted and opposed dispositive motions, and secured six-figure settlements for her clients. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. de la Torre gained valuable experience at as an Associate at prominent Los Angeles law firms, representing employees in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, and PAGA actions, in both state and federal courts. Having also worked defending government entities, Ms. de la Torre understands both sides of the litigation field and carries that insight when advocating and negotiating for her clients.
While at UC Hastings, served as a law clerk for prominent non-profit and government entities, including Legal Aid at Work (formerly Legal Aid Society) and the San Francisco City Attorney’s office. Ms. de la Torre was also inducted into the UC Hastings Pro Bono Society after committing her time to providing legal services to non-profit organizations. Upon graduating, Ms. de la Torre served as a law fellow for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office.
When she is not advocating for her clients, Ms. de la Torre enjoys hiking, reading, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family and German Shepherd.
